The village of Hallau
Hallau is the largest wine-growing community at eastern Switzerland. The village lies on the northern edge of the Klettgau. The large, fertile valley in the canton of Schaffhausen is characterized by arable farming.
On the southern slopes, the foothills of the Jura, the most diverse grape varieties thrive excellently. The dry and mild climate ensures the optimal ripeness of the grapes.

The winery
The Gasser Winery was founded in 2015. The Gasser family has been rooted in viticulture for generations.
When the winery was founded, the brothers Bruno and Kurt Gasser also took over the production and bottling of the wines.
In 2019, the Rahm family joined the Gasser winery with the Talheim vineyard.
