Difference between Open Group and Exclusive Flight

Open group: If you order a voucher from the Scenic Flight category, you are purchasing the right to a seat for one Helicopter Scenic Flight with the selected flight time.

In this case you will fly in a group put together by us.

From 4 persons an exclusive flight with your group takes place.

Flights in open groups take place exclusively on Sundays.

 

Exclusive Flight: If you order a voucher from one of the other categories, you are purchasing the right to right to all seats on a flight with the selected flight time.

An Exclusive Flight can be started on any day of the week.

You determine the route yourself. We would be happy to advise you on this.

The maximum number of passengers can be found in the selection when ordering.

 

Safety

Safety is our top priority. The helicopters are maintained according to regulations and are therefore always in the best condition. Every single flight is thoroughly prepared in order to achieve a maximum of safety to ensure the safety and security of our passengers.

The instructions of the pilot must be followed in any case. Should be affected by the behaviour of a passenger (excessive alcohol consumption, threat, disturbance of the pilot or passengers, failure to follow the commander's instructions ...) result in a potential hazard, the flight may be aborted or not commenced at any time.

In this case, the complete flight is considered to be owed.

 

Elite Flights (Walker Sky Ops.) disclaims any liability in this case.

 

Termination

Please book your appointment early.

Open groups fly exclusively on Sundays.

Exclusive flights can take place on any day of the week by arrangement.

 

Routes

In case of a Scenic Flight in an open group, the route can be discussed with the pilot on site. In principle, however, the published routes apply.

 

For exclusive flights, the exact route is discussed in advance. Your pilot will inform you about the possibilities.

 

Transferability Vouchers

The vouchers are transferable and creditable.

 

Delivery

The vouchers are delivered by post, or you can print them out yourself at home.

 

How do you redeem your voucher?

The best thing to do is to contact us via the registration form and let us know when you would like to would like to fly. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Arrival

Please arrive at least half an hour before the regular appointment.

 

Equipment / Clothing

The clothing must be chosen according to the weather conditions.

For flights with glacier landing, it is mandatory to bring an outfit for winter temperatures. High waterproof shoes, gloves, cap and of course a warm jacket are indispensable. The helicopters have storage space so the equipment can be handed in for the flight.

 

Weather / Feasibility

The operator will inform you of the feasibility by telephone on the day of the appointment. Should your flight take place on a morning, contact will be made the evening before.

The final decision on the feasibility rests with the pilot. In principle, however, a decision is sought together with the customer in case of questionable conditions.

 

On an exclusive flight, you have the option of cancelling a flight yourself as long as it is proportionate. For you there will be no additional costs, and the flight will be caught up on another day.

 

For a flight in an open group, the decision is up to the pilot..

 

In case of no-show, the voucher expires without any right to compensation.
