Beautifully located airfield

The airfield of Lucerne-Beromuenster (LSZO) is located somewhat elevated, embedded between the three lakes: Lake Hallwil, Lake Baldegg and Lake Sempach.

The airfield is located in the municipality of Neudorf in the canton of Lucerne.

You can reach the airport easily by car in around 10 minutes from the Sempach or Sursee highway exits. From Lucerne you can reach the airfield, which is probably one of the most most attractive in Switzerland, in around 20 minutes. 

The airfield can also be easily reached by public transport within a few minutes from Sursee railroad station. 

Family-friendly environment with restaurant and playground

In addition to the popular Flüüger restaurant, which offers simple and generous cuisine, there is also an easily manageable playground for the little ones on the premises. With a beautiful view of the Pilatus to the south, the Flüüger invites you to linger.

On sunny days, the airfield at central Switzerland is a popular destination for young and old alike, who enjoy the beautiful engine music of the helicopters and airplanes.

Parachute Mecca

Another magnet for day-trippers and adrenaline junkies is the local paraclub Beromuenster. To the website of Skydive Lucerne

The daredevil skydivers and their hair-raising flying skills can be experienced up close and personal and promise a heightened adrenaline level on the ground as well.

Difference between Open Group and Exclusive Flight

Open Group: If you order a voucher from the Sightseeing flight category, you are entitled to a seat for a helicopter tour with the selected flight time

In this case you will fly in a group put together by us.

For groups of 3 or more, Exclusive Flight will take place with your group.

Flights in open groups take place exclusively on weekends.

Exclusive Flight: If you order a voucher from one of the other categories, you buy the right to all seats for a flight with the selected flight time.

An Exclusive Flight can be started on any day of the week.

You decide the route yourself, or you can choose one of our suggestions. We will be happy to advise you on this.

The maximum number of passengers can be found in the selection when ordering.

Safety

Safety is our top priority. The helicopters are maintained according to regulations and are therefore always in the best condition. Every single flight is thoroughly prepared in order to achieve a maximum of safety to ensure the safety and security of our passengers.

The instructions of the pilot must be followed in any case. Should be affected by the behaviour of a passenger (excessive alcohol consumption, threat, disturbance of the pilot or passengers, failure to follow the commander's instructions ...) result in a potential hazard, the flight may be aborted or not commenced at any time.

In this case, the complete flight is considered to be owed.

Elite Flights (Walker Sky Ops.) disclaims any liability in this case.

Termination

Please book your appointment early.

Open groups fly exclusively on weekends.

Exclusive flights can take place on any day of the week by arrangement.

Routes

In case of a Scenic Flight in an open group, the route can be discussed with the pilot on site. In principle, however, the published routes apply.

For exclusive flights, the exact route is discussed in advance. Your pilot will inform you about the possibilities.

Transferability Vouchers

The vouchers are transferable and creditable.

Delivery

The vouchers are delivered by post, or you can print them out yourself at home.

How do you redeem your voucher?

It is best to contact us via registration form and inform us when you would like to fly. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Arrival

Please arrive at least half an hour before the regular appointment.

At the airfield in Beromuenster there is a restaurant with a playground. This will make your wait as entertaining as possible.

Please do not forget the CHF 5 airport tax per passenger. The tax is to be paid either in the C-office or directly to the pilot. 

Equipment / Clothing

The clothing must be chosen according to the weather conditions.

For flights with glacier landing, it is mandatory to bring an outfit for winter temperatures. High waterproof shoes, gloves, cap and of course a warm jacket are indispensable. The helicopters have storage space so the equipment can be handed in for the flight.

Weather / Feasibility

The final decision on the feasibility rests with the pilot. In principle, however, a decision is sought together with the customer in case of questionable conditions.

On an exclusive flight, you have the option of cancelling a flight yourself as long as it is proportionate. For you there will be no additional costs, and the flight will be caught up on another day.

For a flight in an open group, the decision is up to the pilot..

In case of no-show, the voucher expires without any right to compensation.
